Good morning everyone, the news coming out of the golf coast is bleak. So much devastation and loss of life's! My story is very dim in comparison. We had the most damage in the twenty-seven years we have lived on Boyd creek!
Our damage was from the high wind from Katrina. My wife's car took a blow from a falling limb. Busting the wind shield and damaging the top. The power went off and we were with out power for almost twenty-four hours. Lost everything in the refrigerator, it was loaded because of our guest staying with us.

We had a limb hit the north end of the house which is the carport! Boom you could hear its heavy blow! I don't no if we have damage or not we haven't seen any leaks. About eleven o'clock we heard another loud crash from the south end of the house! Trying to see through the driving rain we could see a tree had fallen on that end of the house. We checked for water leaks and didn't see any, so there was nothing we could do until morning!

Hear are a few picks, I took at day light. The photos came out dark so I retouched them. Not to good but you can see the mess I had!

We are just thankful that it was not worse! We will have to foot the bill on the car but the house is covered as for as we can tell from our ins. School is still closed Megan is ready to scream, from the little ones cramping her style! We have had trees down everywhere like all who was in Katrina's path! This storm will be felt for month's to come!

Good morning everyone, the whole world is watching as Katrina takes aim at New Orleans! I can only imagine what the people there are going through! A few years back, we were awakened on the beach by police telling us to move out before the hurricane hit. It was a mess trying to get back home! A normal trip was about 4 and a half hours that day was almost ten! We are all creatures of last minute!
Keep all in harms way in your thoughts and prayers today! Their city may never be the same again!

I should be well rested! I did NOTHING yesterday but watch golf on TV! I was in bed by 8:30pm. Course I was up this morning at 3:00am! Another long day awaits!

Thought for the day, my grandpa use to say son, don't forget the animals when your getting ready far a storm!

Good morning everyone. I am soar this morning! My daughter and I started picking up and burning fallen limbs yesterday. You don't relies how out of shape you are until you do something like this. We wanted to get some burning in before Katrina hits some time tomorrow! She is an ugly storm at present and growing stronger! Doesn't look good for New Orleans! Est. 100,000 said they have no way of leaving! Never heard this one before.

I took what was suppose to be a short nap yesterday and it turned into three hours! Today is pay back. I have been up since 2:30am! I got a feeling it will be a long day! LOL! We are taking the little ones to the lake today. They love the water and will play until they drop!

Our first week having them with us has gone well. Either that or I am away from home more than normal! We have our hands full keeping clothes on the twins. One are the other is running around with no pants on all the time. No I am not running one of those Nudist colonies! LOL!

Tina's surgery went well. She has been sore but is getting around more and more every day! She has put in applications at several places for a job so far nothing!

Well I have been reading the state of our national economy and reframe from getting on my sop box at the present but reserve this issue for later! What a mess we are in! NO one seams to care that we are owned by China and Japan! I keep wandering when Bush will hand over the deed to the once sound USA!

Thought for the day, my grandpa use to say son, barrowing to have it now is like standing in quick sand thinking your not going to sink!

Have you ever placed yourself in the Sean of a once thriving community? I did that this week with Pompeii! I ran across a web sight that gave a guided tour of the town.
This was a village of wealth and leisure. The homes were lavish and the epitomize of their time. Wonderful mosaics and paintings still exist today giving a glimpse into the past of this most unusual town.

By Christian standers the town got what it deserved in its destruction by the firry volcano! The destruction was mind bloging consuming the whole town! The destructive force of the Vesuvius volcano lasted for more than twenty-four hours and had tremors for days after.
Pompeii was also a port town and people from all over walked her cobblestone streets

The eastern part of town was home to the ever popular Roman coliseum. Where blood baths were a common assurance and brought thrills to the Roman thirst for violent endings!
Worm baths, gambling and prostitution were a person could forget the changing world for a brief time. This was in truth the first of the Famous Roman Holiday!

Thought for the day, towns like Pompeii have sprung up all over the world and are still existing today but are more undercover from the gaze of a often confused society. Christian virtue will not condone such despicable action by a subculture. To take part in this dream like world is to be dammed forever by religious care takers who proclaimed God loves you just as you are!

Grass is cut for another week! I looked around and with pride thought to my self, the place has never looked better!

There was a huge limb hanging from a pine tree on the east side of the house. I have been cutting around this for weeks now. Well yesterday the grass was to wet to start cutting so I started on this hanging branch. I got that down and started cutting out dead branches in the apple trees!
By the time I finished The place looked like a storm had gone through! BIL. said he had a Mexican young man looking for work and would send him to me to clean up the mess I made! I thought to my self, is this the same young man that was to help me six weeks ago? He never showed up!

Thought for the day, my grandpa use to say son, just because it's the weekend doesn't mean Betsy doesn't have milk!

Good morning every one, still having trouble sleeping! I have already checked all e-mail accounts and today's headlines. I hope it doesn't go down hill from here! LOL!
I got the front cut at the lake yesterday and will do the lake side today. Hard to believe how fast the grass grows. I thought it had slowed down! Ha, it still took six hours to cut the front!

I got through around 2:00pm and walked to the lake front beach to visit with bil. He and his wife and her brother were relaxing on the beach! We talked about getting the new lawn mower. I told him all the work I had done looking at them and gave him a price range from 8m to 12m and he said can't you find any used ones! DUH! I haven't been looking for used ones! We have two tractors down now for extensive repair and I am burning up the 18hp Craftsman. When it goes the grass grows!!!!!

Bil got out his boat yesterday to impress his bil! He has a Master craft. I went for a rider around the lake with them. Man they have build quite a few new homes séance the last time I have been around the lake by boat. I had my camera with me but left it in the car! Darn!

Thought for the day, grandpa use to say son, if you have problems getting people to make a decision, think of how grandma milks Old Betsy!

Good morning everyone! Have you been listening to all the talk about the automotive industry and all the proposal to off set the growing price of fuel.
It's a classical joke! There is no way soon the special interest groups are going to let anyone seriously hamper our energy consumption. There is so much money in oil not millions but trillions!

There are those that manufacture automobiles see a chance to double their profits by building smaller cars and charging the SUV price! Case at point the mini Copper and the Scion. If you get a chance look at the price on what the kids of this generation are getting as toys!

Yesterday the voice of Uncle Sam was heard! You buy what ever you want small or large we are making the manufactures have a minimum gas mileage of 21.2 mpg! This will save billions over the next five years! Ha, Outlaw the Suv and save billions this year!
We are part of a world society where the rich get richer and the poor get poorer! Those that have, could care less if the gas price hits eight dollars a gallon. The only one it will hurt are those that are struggling to live day to day!

Our government is a huge part of this consciences! It has not been long that incentives were given to buy these guzzling monsters that our young ladies some how feel safe in? Could it be the tax money on gasoline? Hey the more these guzzlers consume the more tax dollars!
$$$ makes the world go round make no mistake about it! Fuel economy has been around for thirty years are more. Less face it there is no money in ECONOMY!

Thought for the day, Pat Robison made the comment that we have the means to take out a threat to our country. LOL, Pat there is no profit in that!

Hey every one, I hope your Monday was as good no, even better than mine! Mine was great!

0,My golf game improved about 200%

Hot oh yes it was but a nice genteel breeze all day! Is life good or what!

Thought for the day, grandpa use to say son if you have few words, just think how grateful everyone is!

Good morning every one, 3:30am already and I have been up for an hour! Where oh where does the time go? I was so worn out last night, I went to bed at 8:00pm! Long day and hot! The heat index hit 101* !
We are playing golf today! I am meeting the guys at 7:00am for breakfast! My wife doesn't want me to play, just too hot! I assured her if I got to feeling bad I would quit and come home!

The twins are starting to be jabber boxes! So cut! I love to hear them say good night papa! I have heard a lot of clashes about grandkids but none about great grandkids! LOL!

How rich I am, I will have two grand and three great- grandkids for a while! Now what you goanna do when the kids get you! LOL!

Thought for the day, my grandpa use to say son, when it gets to hot to do about anything, remember that old shade tree down on Boyd creek!

Good morning every one another sleepless night! I just can't get it together. When I am awake I want to sleep! I have been waiting for the news paper to be dropped off. I believe I just heard the car!
Sometimes I feel like an accident about to happen. Up tight expectant. I don't no if you no what I mean or not. It's like IM, you wait for the message to come through and sit there staring at the screen!

My grand daughter is having minor surgery tomorrow so her and the kids will stay with us for a while until she can get back on her feet! She has not handled her divorce well. Moving from one job to another! Can't find one she likes! I am apprehensive abbot her stay!

I love the kids but to be around them full time is another story. They are so cute and mean as a snake! LOL! I told my wife that I may move to the lake for a while! That didn't go over to well.
Any way have a great Sunday, thinking of each of you!

Thought for the day, my grandpa use to say son, when you feel like your being hemmed in, it's time to move the moon shine still!

Well another weekend, not much going on around here. Megan's dance turned into a turn of events! I wasn't going to get into this but will the issue ever change. Why must we cut each other up. No one wants to admit that regardless of what you might think we are all one!

Where does color issue began? It begins at home! The children pick up on our predigest. If we say bad things about someone's race the kids pick up on it! They do this and really don't no why. No one seems to care of the pain this action causes in a young child!

Yesterday at school Megan had her evening planed. One of her so called girl friends was coming home with her and they were going to the dance together. This fell apart during the day because Megan befriended a black class mate! Her friend didn't want anything to do with her because of this. Megan was very upset and told me that she has a right to chose her friends. I agree with her 100%! I told her that her friend was not much of a friend for her behavior. You could see the pain in Megan's eyes. I can imagine how the black girl must have felt.

Megan went to the dance with her new friend, and her old friends shied away from her! I was thankful that her little boyfriend stayed with her. She had fun despite this sad turn of events. I pray that our Lord will forgive us for what we do to each other!

Thought for the day, "prayer is needed for our children and in families. Love begins at home and that is why it is important to pray together. If you pray together you will stay together and love each other as God loves each one of you." Mother Teresa.

Friday, August 19, 2005

Hum... we made it another weekend, I hope all of you have fantabilies planes! I think I am going to let this one be a surprise! LOL!
First week of school and Megan has her first dance tonight! Some times I feel they are forcing the kids to grow up to fast. I got an IM from Megan's friends mother asking how I felt about this dance? I told her I was upset because Megan said I can't go! I love to dance! Now if I could figure out how to change this old body to a twelve year old! LOL!

I got all the grass cut and stood back looking at the place, it looks about the best I have ever seen! I would love to live there full time but my wife doesn't want to. It is such a beautiful place looking across the lake. I saw four Canadian geese, the first I have seen this time of the year. They are so big! I wish I could have gotten a picture.

Also I ran across this yesterday, LOL! I thought I had seen about every thing! I will admit to me there is nothing more beautiful in the world!

Good morning every one, did hump day goby quick or what? What's the saying 'time flies when your having fun!' That's one of our sayings on the golf course are we having fun yet!

I got the front side of the lake cut today I will get the lake side. Yesterday started out not to good. I got to the lake and checked the mower for oil and gas. Needed gas. I went to get the gas can and it was gone1 Full tank of gas, I suppose my bil. must have taken it. I went and got gas and saw the rear tires were low one almost flat! I said a few nice thing at this point like #@^*! After I started cutting I thought what a day and Who am I to mess it up! LOL!

I have seen so many new tech jumps and I forget to tell you about them. If you read the BBC go and look at the article on SILENT AIRPLANE! It is amazing! What I did want to point out is the new German break through in computer soft ware. They have developed a program that will make a picture of a person that does not exist! That is the picture enclosed. Just think of it, they can now make something out of nothing!

Thought for the day, use to be if you saw someone talking to them self's you gave them a strange look. Today you figure they are talking to some one on their ear phone!

Good morning everyone, man is it hot! The humidity is smothering. Playing golf yesterday was a true act of humility. I lost at least two balls on each of the first five holes! We played the Capstone Club this week. Tuff course for a good golfer let alone a old hacker like me.

The course was designed for the U.ofA. golf team and they did play there the first year it opened. However the city decided it was more rewarding for them to have there on course so they not only build a new one they even put in a practice facility second to none.

Any way it was so hot yesterday I could hardly breath! No breeze at all just hot, hot. I made it through 14 holes and then had to start picking up. On the 15th par three, I started seeing black spots in front of my eyes and got real dizzy! Ay this point I told my buddies I was going to just ride the last two holes! After I got home and had a shower I still felt woozy.

Today is grass cutting day at the lake. I plane on getting a early start and quit by lunch to get out of the heat! The grass is not growing as fast now, thank goodness! Speaking of grass at the club I saw some ground cover they had planted around the building and really like it. Lantana, these were red and bright really stood out I may try to find this plat and put it in front of the house!

Thought for the day, The old saying "I can't do the things I use to do" is not just a saying it is true!

Hey every one, I think I have created a monster! I got my friend started on yahoo IM, and now when I start my putter I get yahoo front page. It takes me forever to read all the headlines. Don't you just love it! I am always complaining about something!
yesterday was one of those what if days1 Best part I had a long phone conversation with Dawn! She is so neat, trying to help me get these darn coins on e-bay. That tractor I want to buy looks a long way off at the rate I am going! LOL!

My doc. visit was a productive one! He actually took the time to talk to me! I had just had a heated discussion with my wife and I shared this with him! He took me off my antidepressant cold turkey! LOL! All in all he cut out all my meds except my Two for the big 'A'! He also can't belive how well I am doing! Galee he made me feel almost human!

Megan got grounded on the phone far telling a white lie! she told grandma she didn't have home work and she did! Neither were happy campers yesterday! Megan was too busy with her friends this weekend! I hope this will be the end of her pulling that! She has always been an honor roll student!

Today is golf for me (yes) I so need to get out! Have a good day everyone!

The heart of T-Town!

Good morning every one, (sigh) another weekend gone and I sit here scratching my head! Where the heck did it go too! If your like me you had things you wanted to get done. Unlike me I hope you were able to do it! I have been so bust with getting the e-bay auction started and researching a tractor for the Lake that I have forgotten to take my morning meds for the last two days! My wife gave me heck last night for spending too much time on the computer! I knew I had missed meds yesterday but not Saturday too!

Sleep is still an issue I just wake up after about five hours! The dogs love it, they get to go out early. LOL! I suppose by now every one has heard the PGA was delayed due to lighting! Tiger is out but still believes he did well! With his money I think I would fell that way too. Play resumes today at 9:00am on CBS. It will be a battle of nerves, hitting fairways and getting close for good putting! I am still pulling for lefty! Although I get mad at his putting!

I have a Doctors appt. today and we are going to go around and round over my meds! I have been sick for two months, since my last visit. I am to the point I am ready to change doc. He just doesn't listen! He has so many patients, I feel like I am a number instead of some one needing help!

Ok, ok, I am getting of my soap box, have a great week and make someone smile today! I hope this will publish. I have tried for two days to get my Ill. Friday to publish. I have no idea what's wrong?

Thought for the day, at what point does courage become useless?

Friday, August 12, 2005

Hey every one, I have a few minutes before I have to pick up Megan. I checked mileage this morning 31 miles round trip! With the price of gas still going up my sons Harley is looking more tempting! She had a frustrating day yesterday. They kept changing their schedule. As it turned out she is happy! She now has one class with her friend Nick.

I don't no if any of you are keeping up with the Players Championship. A tree limb on the fourth green just broke a fell on a PGA official! They carried him off on a cart but said the energy was not serious! DAU! A tree limb fell on him! Tiger is having a time of it! As bad as he is playing he did manage to smile. He is now just fighting to make the cut!

Yesterday I read buying and selling on e-bay what a tutorial they have. As of yet I am not verified lol! I talked to my wife about some checking account numbers three times. I still didn't get the numbers! All I have heard is sell on e-bay it doesn't cost anything! Wrong, if you pass gas while on their sight you will be billed! ;-)

Good morning every one, Rain, rain, rain! Just below us had four and a half inches yesterday! They call these widely scattered thunder showers. We had thunder and lighting for over an hour last night. I bet the grass at the lake grew an inch over night! LOL!

I finished cutting grass at the lake and Megan had a dentist apt at 2:00pm. I sure hated to go just after sweating sp bad and felt like hitting the shower instead of waiting for her in a waiting room. We where at the dentist no more than five minutes and Megan pocked me and said there is Nick! ( Her friend from school). It was true his mom and sister had an apt. at the same dentist. It turned out to be a delightful afternoon. His mom is a super person, we seamed to hit it off real well. They moved hear from Michigan a year ago and live across the lake from us. What a small world we live in.

We exchanged e-mail address and I gave her my blog URL. She just may become our new blog buddy! That would be nice, and probably drive Megan nuts, lol, wonting to no if we were talking about her? I sent her an e-mail to make sure I had her address right and she sent me a picture of Megan and her son from last year at school. I hope this turns into a great new friend ship for both of us!

Megan has been up and down all night thinking about her first day at school Middle school has her little mind whirling. She keeps asking, well what about this and what about that. How am I ever going to change classes in five minutes? She is so funny! She got a whole new wardrobe for school this year. She is starting to fill out and nothing she had was fitting right, all too tight! Course she liked that! this should be an interesting school year. Now where did she say to pick her up! LOL!

Thought for the day, I still remember my middle school first day. Girls, girls every where! I thought I had died and went to heaven!

Wednesday, August 10, 2005

Megan's open house was packed last night! The largest sixth grade class they have had at the new school. Megan's best friend went with us and she got to meet her new little boyfriend. First for us too. I don't want to admit it but Nick is a fine looking well mannered young man! He lives across the lake from us. I invited him to come over some time. Megan said papa you embarrassed me! LOL!

I wanted to get some more coin picks. but ran out of time. By the time I got home and showered it was time to go to the open house. Maybe today if I get the time. I am not getting far with my coin research. I think I will put a few on e-bay and see what happens! I saw a Hawaiian fifty-cent piece listed for fifty dollars and the bid was already up to twelve hundred in three days! I have not seen any Nascar coins listed at all. One hobby shop told me he sold a Bobby Alison National Championship coin last year for Fifty bucks! However he wouldn't tell me what he paid for it! No one wants to talk cost and resale!

I have not heard what has happened to two of out friends! TW who doesn't live for from me, and Ann of fish bucket? Has any one got an update on these two? I miss them and hope all is well with them!

Thought for the day, "we are all God's children so it is important to share His gifts. Do not worry about why problems exist in the world-- just respond to people's needs." Mother Teresa.

Good morning every one, we made it through another Monday. I spent most of the day making back up tapes on my OS. I have now all my programs, pictures, and windows on back up disc. I had no idea it would take that long to do it. My oldest daughters gave me the Roxio program that makes CDs, DVDs, music, and a photo program. LOL, I now have five photo programs. and use Kodak and Pisca most of the time. Picture it I have never used and Yahoo I have not used in a long time. Now if I can just figure out how to use this stuff! I have six programs my youngest daughter gave me from her computer class that I have not learned! Where do you find time to do all this. I stay so busy there's not much time to learn something new. Like Flash, Dream weaver, illustrator, and photo shop. I would love to learn all these, maybe I will live long enough to get into them. That word time just keeps popping up! How about you guys, do you find time to get into new programs?

I called our golf course maintained supervisor yesterday about grass mowers. He laughed and said the cheapest mower he had was over twenty-five thousand. After I picked myself up of the floor, I said, say what! He gave me a good lead on a commercial mower made in Wisconsin. Scag turf masters. Wow they have some monsters about three thousand cheaper than what I have been looking at. My bil wants to go with a diesel and I thank it is a waste of money. We can get a water cooled mower for thirty-five hundred less! I don't no which is best? I am just tired of looking. I got a feeling we will not do any thing until the spring of 06!

I called a couple of places that fil bought coins from over the years and they are out of business! LOL, this has turned into a project! I ran across a letter from a guy who sent him a rare coin, a picture of the secret heart of Christ and a little stone called the black star of India. The letter stated this was a money talisman only partially charged. He was suppose to send the guy twenty-five dollars for the rest of the blessing. This was suppose to bring him untold riches! I have never heard of such a thing! The letter stated that he would have untold misfortune if he didn't follow through with this transaction! Has anyone heard of this before.

Well I am rambling, didn't cut grass just too wet! Today I want to try to get at least half through. Tonight is open house at Megan's new school she is so excited. I prey she does well in middle school. She has always been a honor roll student! This year will be a great change for her and the boys are coming out of the wood work calling her!

Thought for the day, my grandpa use to say son, watch for the day that you have to invite the young men over too meet old Thunder throat. You will be amazed at how the calls will slow down!

Monday, August 08, 2005

Monday, Monday! Where did the weekend go? I feel like nothing was accomplished but I did burn all my pics.on my hard drive. Took fifty-six pics. of coins half no good! I have got to research how to make micro shots for e-bay. Most of my coin pics. had a flash blur so bad you can't tell what they are. Hum... more research!

I have gathered all the information I can on the law tractors. Today I want to contact some golf courses about their equipment. Right now I'm leaning toward a 28hp Diesel Kubota with a 60" cut. This is one heavy machine! Seven gauge through out, water cooled, hydraulic deck, shaft driven.

We have had a rain storm every afternoon now for a week. I am about to get behind on my grass cutting. Today I am going to see if I can cut but it is so wet, the small mower may not handle it.

We found another box of coins yesterday! Ten years ago cost on these were over six hundred dollars! It looks like this is going to turn in to a much bigger project that I thought!

Megan has been shopping all weekend for school! They wore me about just talking about all the places they have been! LOL!
Last but not least, Peter Jennings died at the age of 67 to lung cancer! My prayers go out to his family and co-workers at ABC! He was a giant among news anchors. I have watched him for many years. Rest in peace my friend!

Can you hear me now! Has the whole world gone bunkers over the cell phone? What happened to I want a doll are a GI Joe? Now it's but dad, the new black razor is only $199.95! Alright , if you insist I will start with the $79.95 model unlimited calling picture phone! $49.95 is cheap every one else has $55.95 a month and still can't talk to every one! Duh!

How will we make it through school this year. All my friends got almost $500.00 in school supplies and clothes! You can get the new HP Pavilion for under $ 2000.00! They even let you make payments like you do with my braces. Oh yea I want to get green set this time. My friends glow in the dark!
Can you believe they took out the soda and snack machines! What are we suppose to eat? You want me to eat that slop in the cafeteria? Our dog would not eat that stuff!

I will have to start taking vitamins for school. Can you believe they expect us to walk almost a hundred yards to some classes! You can't take your motor bike! I don't no why they can't make the halls bigger so we could ride a Kubota mule from each class!

You need to come at least an hour early to pick me up 95* out isn't that bad to sit in the car and wait. All my friends parents are there earlier than that. I don't belive you won't me to wait for you! Every one will laugh at me!
Good old school days!

Thought for the day, my grandpa use to say son, make sure all your chores are done before you meet your friends walking to school. Better take a jacket that five mile walk today to school will be chilly!

Friday, August 05, 2005

Good morning everyone, bil. didn't show up until we were getting ready to leave from the lake. How ever my nephew who is thirteen came over and kept the girls company. I think the girls are ready to go back to school after swimming every day this week LOL! Megan said I don't wont to go to the lake tomorrow.

We thought Megan starts back to school Monday and found out when we picked up her schedule she will not start till Thursday the eleventh! I don't no how they come up with these school schedules. Her new school is so big and they build the darn thing out in the middle of no where. I will have about an extra six or seven miles to take her to school!

I started going through some of the coins that no one knew about trying to get organized for my e-bay attempt. FIL. has a weird collection of coins and I am having trouble researching them for price estimates. Nigh teen Bobby Alison, National Championships coins. All the coins I looked at but two where one ounce .999 pure silver. Two where gold commemorative coins worth $165.50 each ten years ago. I found a letter and authenticity slips for these two coins. Twenty silver bars engraved with Happy Birth Day, Valentines Day and Happy Anniversary. Twenty Haley Commit coins! These where tucked away in a lather bag stored in the living room center table! Well this is my start I have a lot to go through. He was a collector for the last thirty years. A lot of the coins are in plaques hanging on the wall! I have a job cut out for me. We're hopping to sell enough to buy that new lawn tractor. Some where out there some one would love to have this entire collection!

Thought for the day, some times you can't see the trees for the forest. That's how I felt sitting in the middle of all these coins! What's the old saying 'water, water every where and not a drop to drink'!

Good morning every one, we got over the hump! We're on the down hill run for those still labor slaves. Slaves I suppose we're all slaves in one way or another. Some to work, others to medicine and drug/alcohol abuse. Many are prisoners of their on mind, afraid to do anything out side their norm.
Like speaking in public or before a small group. Getting a tooth pulled or a shot! Afraid of heights or falling. Afraid of being laughed at or criticized. All this is normal to a degree.

Then there is the other side of human nature. Not afraid of anything. Cut some ones through in the blink of an eye! Lie, cheat, rape, and child abuse are but another day in the life of the deranged. These are the most dangerous of all. You may believe in your heart their your friend when all along they are true Jackal and Hide. Their you neighbor, friend, preacher and yes even lover.

I know your wondering where all this is leading too. I guess I question our inability to say what we mean and mean what we say. What does it mean when we say I love you but I am not in love with you? I wont you but I still love my wife? Touch me that I may remember you embrace, although I belong to another. I recently read in a blog, " what difference does it make if I had sex with some one else. I came home to you didn't I"! Duh!

I am thinking too much this morning. I finished cutting grass at the lake and took the girls swimming. Today my BIL, is getting out the boat for the girls last day at the lake before school starts next week. I believe it is a Master Craft ski boat. It has a big 351 ford engine. Runs fast on the water. The kids like to be pulled on a big tube. I hope they have fun. I will try to get some pics. I also wont to get micro shots of the coins I wont to put on e-bay! I have so much I will try to sell from the estate. coins, electronic equipment, old radios and tubes. All I need is a 48 hr day instead of 24! LOL!

Thought for the day, grandpa use to say son, fear is useless, all that is required is faith!

Good morning every one. Hump day is upon us, my how time does fly! I hope ever one is having a good week. I am back to cutting grass at the lake. I almost finished yesterday but my back started hurting and I gave it up. Couple of hours this morning and it will be done. We are getting just enough Rain to make the grass grow like crazy.

We got one mower up and the other has a broken spindle bearing. Had to order the parts no one had them. While I was gone my bill had his wife's niece and boy friend cut grass and they have the mower deck messed up. I was cutting behind the house and the deck caught a stump and almost through me for a flip. It hit so hard it made the engine hood fly open. My back still doesn't feel well this morning.

I drove a new Great Dane zero turn mower at my friends house in Tenn. 25 hp. Man that thing will cut some grass. I have been combing the net looking at different models and have convinced the family to buy one of these for the lake. Expensive but should cut the cutting time in half. I have looked at a dozen different models and never knew they made so many.

I took Megan and her best friend with me. They swam while I cut grass. Megan did a number on the back of my car. She sat the ice cooler on the trunk and moved it around cleaning it. Every time she moved it, it scratched the paint. What a mess, I was in a bad mood all after noon. I know she did not mean to do it. But that didn't make me feel any better. The twins have done a number on the bottom all away around with their riding toys! Now she has done the top! My wife said their just children! Dou! Who is telling them no!

Thought for the day, my grandpa use to say son, children will be children that's why the word NO was invented!

Good morning every one. We came back in yesterday about lunch time and spent the afternoon over at the lake. The trip was fun and not to bad of a drive. We meet Allen in Metropolis Friday at lunch and took the kids to McDonalds where they had a blast playing on the inside gem set. It was huge! They played for about an hour long enough to ware us out! LOL!

From there we drove back down to Pudica Kentucky. There they were having their summer fest on the old water front down town. We walked around enjoying the old buildings and the several hundred Harleys that were in town. I have never seen so many women driving Harleys. I fell in love about half a dozen times. ;-)! My wife said I haven't seen you smile that much in a long time.

From there we drove down to McLean, Tenn. and meet up with old friend from Chicago that we have known for thirty years. Other than we are all older they had not changed. We had a great visit with them. They live way back in the country. Twenty acres on a mountain side. Quite, I could hear myself think! Now that's scary! That are about a four hour drive from us and we hope to get back up that way more often. All expressway driving looping around Nashville, not a bad drive at all.

I tried to get around last night to most of you, needless to say I have missed the heck out of all of you. I have a few pics. that I have to resize that I will post soon for you! Mean while I am playing golf today and hope all have a good week.

Thought for the day, my grandpa use to say son, old friends are a treat to the soul and put a big smile in your heart!
